Regina Smith is the Founder and Owner of Blooni Designs & Contracting serving Florida and New York. Growing up in a family of contractors on her father's side, she was drawn to the construction industry from an early age and built a career that combines construction management expertise with a strong eye for design.
Regina studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID), and completed a skilled trades apprenticeship with Non-Traditional Employment for Women (NEW). She began her career with Turner Construction, gaining experience on large-scale commercial projects & managed renovations for prominent New York City commercial properties.
From 2014 to 2018, Regina served as an adjunct professor at CUNY York College, developing and teaching the Interior Decorating curriculum for the Continuing and Professional Education program.
In 2021, she expanded Blooni's operations to Florida and founded PBC Design & Trades Networking Mixer Group, a nonprofit organization that connects professionals across the interior design & construction industries through networking and connection.
As a licensed construction manager with extensive industry experience, Regina brings together creative design vision and technical construction expertise to successfully guide projects from concept to completion, delivering a personalized client experience.
Blooni Designs & Contracting is a boutique design-build and construction management firm for commercial and residential projects. Serving both the public and private sectors providing owner's representation, project management and general contracting services.
