Regina Smith, Founder and Owner of Blooni Designs & Contracting, studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) and completed an apprenticeship with Non-Traditional Employment for Women (NEW) in New York, NY.

After working on numerous commercial projects for one of New York’s prominent builders, she welcomed the challenge of renovating interior spaces on many influential NYC projects and landmarks; soon after founding Blooni Designs & Contracting. Blooni consisted of her professional experience in construction management and her educational background in interior design.   

Further emphasizing the impact design and creativity, she served as an adjunct professor at CUNY York College from 2014–2018, where she developed and taught the Interior Decorating syllabus under the Continuing and Professional Education program.

 In 2021, Regina expanded operations to Florida, bringing its full range of design/build services to the South Florida market. During this time, she also founded and became President of the PBC Design & Trades Networking Mixer Group, a Florida-based nonprofit organization created to connect professionals across the design, construction, and trades industries through networking, collaboration, and community engagement. 

With over extensive years of experience in the industry, Regina is passionate about blending design creativity and construction expertise.
